Each time you turn on the faucet, you can be assured of high quality water. The homes in the District are supplied with ground water which is pumped from wells that originate in the Biscayne Aquifer. The Biscayne Aquifer is an underground geologic formation where water is stored.

Drinking water must conform to two types of State and Federal standards. Primary standards apply to the protection of public health, and secondary standards refer to the aesthetic qualities of the water, such as taste and clarity.

State certified licensed water plant operators test and monitor our water supply on a daily basis. The quality of water being pumped to your homes meets or exceeds all local and federal standards.
