The District is currently accepting applications for the following:

Valid FDEP Level 3 Water Distribution Operator license (or obtain within 24 months of hire). Must have prior heavy equipment operation experience (backhoe, excavator, loader, forklift, vacuum excavator, etc.) for pipeline/repair/excavation tasks.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $43,000-$51,000 p/y. Salary commensurate with license level and experience.

Experience required in boat operation, lawn equipment use, and aquatic herbicide/chemical application. Must be willing to obtain a Florida aquatic pesticide license. Ability to troubleshoot and repair malfunctions, plus perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, is needed.

Pay: $43,000-$52,000 p/y. Salary commensurate with license level and experience.

Employment Requirements:

All positions require a valid Florida driver’s license, high school diploma or GED equivalent, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position applied for. Incumbents must pass a pre-employment drug screen test.
